Double Swing with Flat Seat and Parent-Child Swing
Product code: H-1310/7
Product features:
This product combines two classic swing types, making it suitable for both individual and shared swinging experiences.
The product complies with MSZ EN 1176-1:2018 and MSZ EN 1176-2:2017+AC standards and comes with a playground conformity certificate.
Materials and construction:
The support legs are made of bent, powder-coated carbon steel plates, fixed to the wooden structure with a bumper that prevents direct ground contact, protecting the wood from rot. Each leg is connected to the wooden posts with at least 4 long steel screws. The steel parts are primed and powder-coated, which is the most modern, environmentally friendly corrosion protection method.
Wooden parts: Laminated pine beams of visible quality. Technically dried, finger-jointed laminated pine, free of strength-reducing and visual defects. By removing weak points and using laminated construction, the beams comply with DIN EN 14080:2013, strength grade GL24h. No loose or black knots. All sides are planed, sanded, splinter-free, with rounded edges. Surface treatment is environmentally friendly, UV-resistant, applied in two layers with water-based thick glaze and a natural fungicidal agent, ensuring durability against weather conditions. All screws are covered with rounded plastic caps that cannot be removed without tools.
The flat swing seat has an aluminium insert surrounded by flexible rubber, making the seating surface warm to the touch and minimizing the risk of injury to other children while swinging. The swing is suspended on galvanized steel chains with a 5 mm material thickness. The chain links are designed to prevent children’s hands from getting pinched during use.
The parent-child swing allows children, parents, grandparents, or older siblings to enjoy swinging together. Sitting opposite each other, constant eye contact with the child is maintained, providing a unique bonding experience.
Installation:
The swing is secured by concreting the powder-coated steel support legs. During installation, care must be taken to ensure that the concrete block ends at least 20 cm below ground level. After the concrete has cured (minimum curing time 10–15 days depending on weather), the equipment can be safely used.
