The aerial cableway consists of a starting platform and an arrival platform, which must be built on mounds of different heights. From the higher starting mound, the child grabs the disc swing between their legs, lifts their feet, and glides along the 23-meter track. At the end, they hit the shock-absorbing spring at the arrival section, which gently pushes them back about halfway. The trolley is equipped with an automatic brake to ensure that it does not slide away when not in use.
The cableway is primarily recommended for older children, ages 3–14.
The product complies with MSZ EN 1176-1:2018 and MSZ EN 1176-4:2017+AC:2019 standards and comes with certified playground conformity.
Materials and structural design:
- Wooden parts: Glued laminated pine beams of visible quality. Made of technically dried, finger-jointed laminated pine with weak points removed. The layered design ensures compliance with DIN EN 14080:2013, strength class GL24h. Boards are AB quality, free of loose or black knots. Planed, sanded on all sides, splinter-free, with rounded edges. Surface treatment is eco-friendly, highly weather-resistant, UV-resistant, and applied in two layers with water-based thick glaze and natural anti-fungal protection. All bolts are covered with rounded plastic caps, which cannot be removed without tools.
- Metal support legs: Edge-bent, powder-coated carbon steel plate fixed to the wooden structure. A stopper prevents the wood from contacting the soil directly, avoiding decay. Each leg is connected with at least 4 long steel bolts. Treated with primer and powder coating – the most advanced eco-friendly corrosion protection method.
- Cableway: 25 m long, 10 mm diameter steel cable.
- Running parts: Galvanized steel braking spiral, stainless steel trolley, galvanized steel cable tensioner and support system.
- Seat: Rubber-coated disc swing with metal reinforcement, suspended on galvanized steel chains with rubber coating.
Installation:
The structure is anchored with powder-coated metal support legs concreted into the ground. When preparing the concrete footing, ensure it finishes at least 20 cm below ground level. After the concrete has cured (10–15 days depending on weather), the equipment is safe to use.
