Square Climbing Tower with Fireman’s Pole and Horizontal Bar
Product code: H-1234/2
Product features:
The climbing tower is a four-sided multifunctional playground structure. One side features a climbing net made of 16 mm steel-reinforced rope, while the opposite side is equipped with a climbing wall fitted with holds of various shapes and sizes. On one of the remaining sides, a horizontal bar provides older children with a section suitable for pull-up exercises, while on the opposite side a fireman’s pole allows younger children to practice sliding and climbing.
The product complies with MSZ EN 1176-1:2018 standards and comes with playground compliance certification.
Materials and structural design:
- Support legs: Bent sheet carbon steel with powder coating, fixed to the wooden structure. A buffer prevents the wood from direct ground contact, reducing the risk of rot. Attached with at least four long steel bolts. Primed and powder-coated with the most modern, environmentally friendly corrosion protection method.
- Fireman’s pole: Powder-coated steel tube.
- Wooden parts: Laminated pine beams of visible quality, technically dried and finger-jointed. Structural weaknesses and optical defects are eliminated. Meets DIN EN 14080:2013 standards, strength class GL24h. Boards are AB quality, free from loose or black knots. All surfaces are planed, sanded, splinter-free, and rounded. Surface treatment is eco-friendly, weather-resistant, UV-protected, treated with two layers of water-based wood stain and a natural antifungal agent.
- Climbing wall: Made of waterproof plywood with special resin climbing holds.
- Climbing net: Vandal-resistant safety rope, 16 mm thick, steel-reinforced, polyethylene-coated, UV-resistant, with pressed plastic junctions.
Installation:
The four support posts and the fireman’s pole are fixed into concrete. When preparing the foundations, ensure the concrete ends at least 20 cm below ground level. After thoroughly compacting the concrete, an appropriate impact-absorbing surface must be prepared within the fall zone.
- Fall height: 180 cm (According to MSZ EN 1777, an impact-absorbing surface such as sand or rubber tiles is required.)
- Fall zone: 25 m²
