Product features:
A train carriage–shaped structure made of waterproof plywood, laminated pine, and powder-coated, colorful handholds. The unit is fixed to the ground via powder-coated metal legs set in concrete.
The product complies with MSZ EN 1176-1:2018 standards and is certified for playground use.
Materials and structural design:
- Support legs: Bent sheet carbon steel with powder coating, securely attached to the wooden frame. A protective buffer prevents direct ground contact, reducing the risk of rot. Attached with a minimum of four long steel bolts. All parts are primed and powder-coated, which is the most modern and environmentally friendly method of corrosion protection.
- Wooden parts: Glued laminated pine beams of visible quality, technically dried and finger-jointed. Defects that would reduce strength or visual quality are removed. Meets DIN EN 14080:2013 standards, strength class GL24h. Boards are AB quality, free from loose or black knots. Surfaces are planed, sanded, splinter-free, and have rounded edges.
The surface treatment is eco-friendly, highly resistant to weather conditions, and UV-protected. Treated with two layers of water-based wood stain and a natural antifungal agent.
Installation:
The equipment is anchored by concreting the powder-coated metal support legs. When preparing the concrete foundation, ensure that it is completed at least 20 cm below ground level.
- Fall height: 0 cm (According to MSZ EN 1777, no additional shock-absorbing surface such as sand or rubber is required; natural grass provides adequate impact absorption.)
