The nest swing is one of the most versatile swing types, as even the youngest children can comfortably lie inside, while older children can enjoy it together, sitting in groups.
The product complies with MSZ EN 1176-1:2018 and MSZ EN 1176-2:2017+AC 2020 standards and comes with playground compliance certification.
Materials and structural design:
- Support posts: 102 mm diameter powder-coated steel tube with 3 mm wall thickness, primed and powder-coated using the most advanced eco-friendly corrosion protection method
- Ropes: 16 mm diameter, polyethylene-coated, UV-resistant, vandal-proof, steel-reinforced rope
- Basket: 1200 mm diameter steel ring coated with polyethylene safety rope; interior net in spider-web design made of UV-resistant, steel-reinforced ropes, interwoven at the junctions and secured with pressed aluminum sleeves
- Suspension: Basket connected to special nest swing joints with steel-reinforced safety ropes and secured with chains; joints mounted to the support posts
Installation:
The equipment is anchored by concreting the support posts. When preparing the foundations, ensure that the concrete ends at least 20 cm below ground level. After the concrete has cured (minimum 10–15 days depending on weather), the equipment can be safely used.
- Fall height: 983 mm (According to MSZ EN 1777, no additional shock-absorbing surface such as sand or rubber tiles is required; well-maintained grass is sufficient)
- Fall zone: 16.7 m²
