Product features:

The “Ella” consists of freestanding, tuned metal chimes of different lengths. The longer the tube, the deeper the sound it produces. The seven powder-coated aluminum tubes can be played with HDPE mallets. The tubes are precisely tuned, and their pitch changes according to their length. By experimenting with the tubes, a wide variety of melodies can be created. The instrument can be played by two people at the same time, making it suitable for paired activities as well as for developing teamwork skills.

The instrument is characterized by high frequencies and a delicate scale of aliquot overtones. To enjoy the enchanting sound of the chimes, the middle of each tube should be struck with the mallet. Even the simplest, intuitive rhythm produces an interesting melody. The chimes are designed for two players.

The product complies with standards MSZ EN 1176-1:2017 and EN 1176-07:2008 and comes with playground conformity certification.

Installation:
The instrument is installed in loose soil with concreting. When preparing the concrete footing, ensure the concreting ends at least 40 cm below ground level. After the concrete has cured (at least 10–15 days depending on weather conditions), the instrument can be safely used. For installation on existing concrete or other hard surfaces, flat anchors are recommended.
