By holding onto the side handrails, children set the rotating drum in motion through a running movement – the faster they run, the faster the drum turns. This activity has a positive effect on children’s physical development, significantly improving stamina and coordination. This equipment is primarily recommended for public playgrounds and schools. For safe use, only one child may be on the rotating drum at a time. Mainly suitable for school-age children. Children under the age of five may only use the equipment under parental supervision.
The product complies with MSZ EN 1176-1:2018 standards and comes with a playground compliance certificate.
Materials and structural design:
The rotating drum is made of powder-coated steel, with a ribbed surface to minimize slipping hazards. The handrails are also made of powder-coated steel box sections with rounded ends.
Installation:
The equipment is installed with a concrete foundation. During installation, ensure that the foundation ends at least 20 cm below ground level. The equipment can be used safely once the concrete has fully cured (curing time approx. 10–15 days, depending on weather conditions).
